Shin Huoy's GIS Portfolio

During this lab session, I was tasked to create a simple tourist map of Vancouver. To create this map, I traced  the coastline of Vancouver using the 'Pen' tool in Adobe Illustrator while refering to Google Maps. I added the major roads in Downtown Vancouver and marked out points of interest for a tourist visiting Vancouver for the first time. I chose to use vibrant colors to evoke a fun and informal feel, to cater to the target audience who are fun-seeking tourists.
